FIRM PROFILE

Located in Opotiki, we are a medium sized chartered accountancy practice providing professional accounting, audit, taxation, business advisory, Xero & MYOB support services to our client base throughout the Bay of Plenty and surrounding regions. From the inception of the practice of R B Sharp in 1974 to the current structure the practice has experienced significant growth over the last 45 years. Evolving through two partnerships, more recently Fred Cookson and June Forbes, to return to a sole owner practice – Fred Cookson, in October 2017.

To assist Fred, a senior management team has been established of Melanie Cole, Rangi Williams and June Forbes who all hold certificates of public practice and are associates of the firm. Our team has extensive accounting, financial reporting, taxation & audit experience in the Agribusiness, Health, Educational and commercial sectors. We are client focussed and take pride in providing a friendly, efficient and professional service within our comfortable office environ.
