Gwen joined the firm in 1997 after relocating from Auckland with her husband and two children.  Gwen came from a general office background working her way through the ranks from Office Junior through to Office Manager before starting the new challenge of working for a Chartered Accountant.  

During her time at Cookson Forbes she has completed her Bachelor of Business degree majoring in accounting and qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant.  

As a senior member of the accounting team Gwen helps with staff and client training and has a sound working knowledge of many computer software programs so is able to assist and advise clients in what software best suits their needs.   Gwen has extensive experience with MYOB software programmes and has Xero Advisor Certification.

Over the years Gwen has acquired a broad knowledge base in all aspects of accounting and is always more than happy to help with those tricky questions and problems that crop up.
